During a brilliant stint at Ray + Keshavan, now known as The Brand Union, he gained invaluable experience in the subtleties of brand management. At The Brand Union Sanju handled several large corporate makeovers like those for Canara Bank, Trident Hotels, J&K Bank, PunjLlyod, CEAT Tyres, SOMA Infrastructure, Coromandel Fertilizers, Chettinad Cement, ACC, Fair & Lovely and many more. Sanju has proved his prowess at setting-up, implementing and managing large-scale projects, and in providing strategic insights to strengthen the value proposition and gain marketplace success. In advertising, he has worked with such illustrious names as Ogilvy & Mather, Contract adverting and Euro RSCG etc. Sanju was the impetus behind the successful communication rollout for various brands like Hutch (now Vodafone), Louis Philippe, Carbon Jewelry, Le meridian, and more. Furthermore, Sanju's strategic vision powered various advertising campaigns that focused on a new product, increased brand visibility, promoted brands and spread consumer awareness. An MBA from Alliance University, Sanju's brand experience spans sectors like Banking, FMCG, Insurance, Real estate, Telecom, Engg& construction services, Healthcare, Cement, Fertilizer, Hospitality, Education and Apparel. He is a member of McKinsey Quarterly Executive Panel, International Advertising Association and TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), Bangalore Chapter. Ajai is not just a design lover, but an expert in practical design which benefits the consumer and the brand equally. A gold medalist in BFA from Fine Arts College, Trivandrum and Ajai has over 14 years of experience in brand design. Before being part of Whitespace, he had a short stint at Microland and Infosys as web designer and communications designer before moving to Icarus design where worked for many years. His vast portfolio includes some of the best packaging works developed for brands like Mr. White and Sani Fresh from Henkel, Brand identity and packaging for Rasna, Tata Salt, Britannia Cheese. Many brands of the UB Group (United Breweries Group) including the corporate identity are the design ideas of Ajai. Packaging revitalization and variant development for India's second largest condom brand Kamasutra has become a case study post its launch. As a creative problem solver Ajai has a very detail oriented approach to design and has delivered some impactful design solutions that has worked really well for our clients. Ajai has won the best package design category award at Future Group Business World NID design brilliance award 2008 for ZinZi wine of UB Group.
